Calais View Garden Apartment – letting terms and conditions
Discounts We try to be as flexible as possible with regard to occupancy levels, hence offering a 20% discount for the use of the master bedroom only (maximum 2 people). Please enter the code 1bedroom (no space between 1 and b) in the ‘discount code’ box, when making a booking. The system will automatically deduct the 20% discount. Please be aware that the 2nd bedroom is located in an adjoining annexe and will not be available if a discount is given.
A 5% discount will automatically be given for bookings of 2 weeks or more.
The Property You may arrive at the property any time after 15.00 (please let us know if you expect to arrive later than 21.00). At the end of your holiday you should depart no later than 10.00.
Deposit 20% of the full fee is required on booking.
Payment Telephone bookings will remain firm for seven working days pending receipt of booking form and deposit. We reserve the right to re-let the property if the deposit is not received in this time. The balance must be received 6 weeks before the beginning of the booked period. We reserve the right to re-let the property if full payment is not received by this date. We will confirm receipt of final payment. If the holiday is booked 6 weeks or less before the start of the holiday, full payment will be required.
Non-availability of property If for any reason the property is not available on the date booked, we will refund all deposits and charges immediately, but will not be liable for damages and consequential loss where cancellation is due to circumstances beyond our control.
Cancellation If you have to cancel, please advise us as early as possible. We shall do all we can to re-let, so as to return your payment. If we are unable to re-let, monies paid will be forfeited. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. Information and purchase of insurance can be obtained from Cancellation Plan .
Numbers The number of people should not exceed the number stated on the Booking Form. The hire of the property should not be transferred to a third party without our prior consent.
Cleanliness and breakages You will find the property clean and in good order. You must undertake to keep all furniture, equipment and fittings in the same condition as they were found. Breakages and damage must be notified as soon as possible, and paid for at a cost determined by us. Please do not attempt to repair or replace anything without our agreement. (Please note that smoking is not permitted in the apartment).
Linen and fuel Towels and bedlinen are changed between tenancies and on a weekly basis during longer tenancies. A charge of £10 is made for additional sets of linen if requested.
Access The owners reserve the right to enter the property if necessary at any time, but will do all they can to ensure your privacy.
Liability We are not responsible for any damage to persons or their property whilst resident at Calais View, however, the use of the holiday home is subject to owner regulations and the local/international law. Private off-road parking is available opposite Calais View, however, this is entirely at the guests own risk and we cannot be held responsible for any potential loss or damage to a vehicle or its contents or injury to persons using this land.
Complaints We do all that we can to ensure your stay at Calais View is a memorable and enjoyable experience, however, in the unlikely event that something should go wrong we would ask that any complaints are addressed as soon as possible during the letting period as it is impossible to put things right after your departure.
